How Can You Commit to Being More Active?

Hi everybody, it’s Anita, here, coming to you from St. Albert. I just thought I’d give you a little tip today for keeping yourself active, especially in the summertime when it’s so gorgeous out.

What I do is I put it in my day planner or I schedule it on my phone, whichever works for you, but you need to chunk out a piece of time for your day to do something that’s physically active.

We have become professional sitters, most of us. During our day, at work, we are sitting all the time hunched over a computer or over a desk, or in meetings, so it’s important that we get out and we move, because our bodies are meant to move and it makes your head much more clear.

I felt really tired when I came home from work, my day job, and I thought oh, I don’t really feel like it. Maybe I’ll just have a cup of tea and sit, but no, let’s get the running shoes on, let’s go for a walk and get out in the fresh air. So that’s the tip for today. Talk to you soon.
